Now that you are an author you will need to focus on marketing your book. David Hancock recommends that authors devote the same amount of time, energy, and imagination to promoting their books a day, as they did to writing.

Here’s a quick book marketing tip for you. A critical partner for you, as an author is the media, and it is important that you reach out to the media through your website. Include on your site a space for the media where they can engage with you. In that space, you will want to include a Media Kit to allow them to download your photo, images of your book and so on. This will make it easier for them to learn about you and reach out to you.
